I’m Thomas, a 40-year-old chef from Asheville, North Carolina. My love for cooking started in my grandmother’s kitchen, where cornbread and stews were made with love and a touch of family history. From there, food became my way of connecting—with people, places, and stories.
I trained at the Culinary Institute of America and spent years exploring flavors from all over the world. I’ve run kitchens, started pop-ups (some successful, some not), and even watched a taco truck go up in flames—literally. Each experience taught me something new, and I wouldn’t trade any of it.
These days, I focus on cooking with joy, teaching anyone who wants to learn, and creating food that brings people together. Whether you’re just learning to boil water or perfecting your signature dish, I believe there’s always room at the table for more curiosity, more flavor, and more heart.
